What is RFID??

 Radio Frequency Identification.  A technology that incorporates the use of electromagnetic or electrostatic coupling in the radio frequency portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that uniquely identifies an object. There are 3 parts to an RFID: an antenna and transceiver (often combined into one reader) and a transponder (the tag). RFID is becoming an alternative to the bar code and is mandated by the Department of Defense DFARS 252.211-7006. 

By taking this initiative we will be able to supply any manufacturer/supplier with the required  tags/labels required to meet and exceed DOD requirements.

No-hassle-Compliance offered. You supply Cage Code and pertinent shipping information.  We provide custom programmed DOD tags/labels. We also program tags with our Cage Code as a third party warehouse when utilizing our packaging/shipping locations. 

Utilizing premium equipment and top quality supplies from trusted sources ensuring DOD read range and durability requirements. Zebra label stock passive 4”x2” DOD RFID label; small enough to be unobtrusive, large enough to provide readability. These are 96-bit Zebra premium self-adhesive RFID labels. These tags are EPC class-1, generation 2 compliant. 

Each tag is hand tested and verified to comply with all DOD mandate requirements providing an accelerated shipping process and conformance to provide compliance.  MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-129-P. 

We knew this new mandate would further interfere with operations and provide yet another obstacle to manufacturers/suppliers who don’t have the time or money to invest in such a project.  Continuing to support those companies that support our troops is essential, thus making this an unquestionable endeavor for all of us here at VEE Sales.
